Richmond, VA (January 2021) Home Care Delivered, Inc. a leading direct-to-patient provider of insurance covered medical supplies has earned the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) Standards of Excellence “Seal of Approval” Accreditation for the fifth consecutive time. HCD supports customers needing monthly deliveries of medical supplies for health conditions including diabetes, incontinence, urology, wound care, and ostomy and is recognized for unmatched customer service combined with compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
CHAP Accreditation takes place every 3 years for Home Medical Equipment (HME) suppliers and ensures that suppliers deliver the best possible quality of service to patients utilizing HME products. By attaining CHAP reaccreditation, HCD once again showcases the company’s commitment to providing customers with outstanding customer service and both referral partners and business partners with responsiveness that exceeds the industry’s highest quality and compliance standards.
“We want to ensure the customer gets what the doctor ordered, in the right amount, when they need it, every time,” said Lisa Wong, General Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer for Home Care Delivered. “Leading with a compliance-first approach is what really sets HCD apart from other companies in the HME industry. It means that everyone who works for Home Care Delivered is united in making sure orders coming in from each customer’s healthcare provider are accurate, complete, and comply with the requirements of each insurance plan. That way we can bill claims on behalf of our customers and ensure that there are no issues with orders going forward.”
CHAP is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations. Created in 1965 as a joint venture between the American Public Health Association and the National League for Nursing, CHAP was the first accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations in the United States. CHAP brings deep insights, best practices and thought leadership to the organizations they serve, leading to improved care and services.
